Forward Giving, Inc. (FGI) is a 501(c)(3) public charity with a mission to support charitable causes across the U.S. Many of our donations and grants are recommended by our donors. We evaluate recommended recipients, always seeking to carry out our donor’s wishes.
We’re proud to have funded over $600,000 thus far, empowering plaintiff organizations, animal-people charities, universities, and home support for low-income individuals. FGI was founded in 2016 and is located outside Nashville, Tennessee.
Larry Eisenberg is FGI’s founder and President. As a tax attorney and CPA with over 40 years of experience, he recognized that unfair taxation of personal injury plaintiffs could be uniquely addressed through philanthropy.
The Plaintiff Fund helps plaintiffs raise funds to meet their medical needs. Plaintiffs often receive insufficient funds at lawsuit settlement, even with public benefits. And raising funds through private organizations like GoFundMe can endanger their public benefits eligibility. Through the Plaintiff Fund plaintiffs are empowered to offer tax deductions to donors in their community and raise unlimited amounts to address what is sometimes a lifetime of medical care.
